Times are IST, taken from the train's origin station, since every rule counts from there. Rules live in config/travel.toml: booking opens 60 days ahead at 08:00; Tatkal the day before, at 10:00 AC and 11:00 non-AC; first chart 10 h before, or 20:00 the previous day for trains leaving 05:01–14:00.

Travelpayouts caches these prices from other travellers' searches over the last 48 h. They're indicative, never a live fare, and may be patchy on Indian domestic routes. Each watch is checked at most every 6 h. You get an alert at or below target, or on a drop of more than 15% below the best so far.
